Our Mission and Our Dream
Our mission and our dream for
the
near future is to obtain 200 acres or more to start building Puzzle
Ranch. We plan is to open the first ranch in Texas and as time
progresses, open one in every state in the United States and eventually
every country. We will be building with as much recycled products as
possible to help keep things out of the landfills. The ranch will
utilize wind and solar power for utilities. We will grow our own
organic food, raise our own livestock. Training would be provided for
completing high school eduction, sewing, cooking, child care, CPR,
computer science, animal care, medical assistant, metal work and other
careers. All of this would take place in a safe supportive environment
for a person to be able to start the healing.
The ranch will have long term
and short term cabins for domestic violence victims to start to heal
emotionally, physically and psychologically. All while in a safe
place. If a domestic violence victim and their children are given a
chance to heal and learn to take care of themselves all while in a safe,
supportive environment, we help them to break the cycle and lessen the
chance of them returning to their abuser.
It would have 2 dormitory type
facilities with house parents for children who have been living on the
streets because their homes were not safe. We would provide education,
training, counseling, hope and support. This program would also have
long term and short term available.
Our final phase would be our animal rescue. Providing safe, loving
homes to abandoned and abused animals. Some of our fur friends will be
able to be trained to help others and others may not. Either case, we
will try to find good loving homes for all and the ones that do not get
adopted will have a home on the ranch for the rest of their lives.
Each ranch will have at least 1
store that will help provide financial support and also help the local
communities.
1. Holistic Center with
a sliding fee scale to be able to assist all individuals. We hope to
be able to offer all different modules of alternative therapies.
2. Art Center for local area artists
and items handcrafted by the residents of the ranch.
3. Organic grocery for
the local organic farmers to be able to sell their produce. This is
also were the Puzzle Ranch will be able to sell their excess produce.
4. Gift shop for
local area individuals to sell their handcrafted supplies.
5. Social Service to
help those that have temporarily fallen down on their luck. This will
also be used as a intake station for our Ranch
6. Organic cafe and
herbal tea room, for relaxation and socializing.
We are hoping for this
to be a proto type that will be able to emerge in each and every
community. Bringing all like minded individuals together to help form
a better unity and bond and to help spread the joy. Helping to utilize
each others talents as well as expanding our knowledge.
